Project scope[edit]
Hi Grace Clarianes, please keep in mind that Commons has a project scope and uploaded images "must be realistically useful for an educational purpose". Therefore give useful descriptions and useful categories to your images so that other people can find and actually use them for educational purposes. Always keep the categories educational. For instance in
- File:Violet .jpg categorize the plant species and its location.
- File:Little miss pink daisy.jpg categorize the plant species and its location.
- File:Mountain view 4.jpg categorize the name of the mountain ar at least the location (Category:Mountains in ..., as exact as possible subcategory of Category:Mountains of the Philippines).
- File:Pollen grain 2.jpg categorize the Hibiscus species or at least Category:Unidentified Hibiscus and Category:Unidentified plants in the Philippines.
Find further information in Commons:Categories. Note that private images and images of unidentified plants or unidentified mountains at unidentified locations are good for nothing and not anyhow educational. They should not be uploaded to Commons. Greetings, -- Ies (talk) 15:05, 24 June 2018 (UTC)
Notification about possible deletion[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |
