Hello. What did you have in mind exactly? I can help you out with contributing here if you like. I notice your post to the village pump is a bit "off topic". People at Wikimedia projects generally talk only about things that are relevant to improving the project, so discussions about love are probably best posted at a different site like a forum or something. What would you like to do? You can take a look at some of the things I do to get some ideas, though you may not be interested in the same things I am. If you tell me what sorts of things you'd like to do here I can offer some assistance. Richard001 (talk) 21:41, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Add categories/descriptions/interwiki links to files, take your own photos/video/audio recordings and upload them, vote on deletions, move files here from Wikipedia, use media here on Wikipedia, scan from books, discuss guidelines and policies, make diagrams, copy good pictures and video from Flickr or another website, create new categories and galleries, create bots or processes here etc. It all depends on your talents, interests and available equipment (e.g. access to a scanner or a sound recording device). I would suggest following some of the links in the welcome message and reading those pages for a start. Richard001 (talk) 05:03, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your thoughts[edit]

Thanks you - most kind. --Herby talk thyme 13:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Voting[edit]

Hi - can you be careful voting please - you seem to be voting for the same image twice quite often (accidentally I do realise) but folk are having to follow along and strike the duplicates. Thanks --Herby talk thyme 19:06, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looking I see you are not actually eligible to vote (you have to have 200 edits before voting which you do not have). Please stop voting - sorry --Herby talk thyme 19:13, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry - you had to have the number before the voting started. --Herby talk thyme 08:02, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly no. If you look here it is quite explicit - you had to have 200 edits before starting to vote. Sorry --Herby talk thyme 13:39, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
