Very cool graphic! Thanks & kind regards, DASonnenfeld (talk) 22:19, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted back to my version. The wide circles are really distracting and hide much of the info. If there's a problem with the left scale then maybe we can work on fixing that and keep the smaller circles. Bhny (talk) 13:24, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly what info do you think is being hidden? With the disks as small as you made them, their representation of population size is absolutely obscured at thumbnail size. It's impossible to tell the difference between the population of US, UK, and Japan. And as you can plainly see, good data for UK doesn't start until 1830, for Japan at 1875, for India at 1885, and China at 1910. Why on Earth would you want to start at 1800? It just doesn't make sense. Globalizr (talk) 20:17, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
the whole graph is obscured by the ridiculously large circles. This is actually the ugliest chart I've ever seen, and look at the blob artifact down the right side. Bhny (talk) 18:35, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The "messy blobs" are all the other countries in the world, for comparison purposes! "The whole graph is obscured" is blatant hyperbole. Would you please be so kind as to stop trying to downplay the relative population indication of the disks' area?!? Globalizr (talk) 09:44, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
