Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hola. Te agradeceria(mos) mucho que por favor categorizaras las fotos que estás subiendo sobre Lima. He visto que has compartido muchas para WikiLoveMonuments, pero aún faltaría que las categorizaras. Saludos! MiguelAlanCS (talk) 13:34, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Que tal Miguel, no tengo claro como categorizar, si se refiere a poner a la foto el código de monumento si lo estoy realizando, pero solo en las fotos que tiene ID, si es por otra cosa por favor avisarme.

Hola nuevamente, te explico: las categorías no se refiere al ID del monumento sino a un sistema que permite almacenar elementos multimedia similares o de la misma temática en contenedores específicos, a modo de álbum. Como ejemplo te pongo dos: Category:Plaza San Martín (Lima), donde se almacenan todas las imágenes referentes a la plaza limeña, el monumento principal, sus elementos arquitectónicos y los edificios colindantes y Category:Pancho Fierro, donde está reunida la obra del artísta afroperuano. Categorizar es relativamente sencillo, y para hacerlo más fácil existe una herramienta que puedes activar yendo a Preferencias (en la parte de arriba a la derecha de tu panel) y luego vas a la pestaña Accesorios y bajas en el listado hasta Herramientas para las categorías y activas Cat-a-lot. Una vez activada dicha herramienta aparecerá debajo de cada página de fotos las categorías que puedes editar; veamos con una foto tuya. Esta maravillosa panorámica File:Plaza San Martin aa.jpg, pertenece a la categoría antes mencionada de Plaza San Martín, entonces lo que tienes que hacer es ir abajo del todo donde pone "Categoría (++): Cultural heritage monuments in Peru (−) (±) (↓) (↑) (+)" y clickar en el último (+) que es para añadir una categoría, escribes "Plaza San Martín (Lima)" y das a Enter y listo! la imagen se añadió a la "categoría-álbum", luego existen otras categorías en las que puede ser incluida la imagen, como "Panoramic views of Lima" o "2019 in Lima"; pero ten en cuenta tres reglas: que la gran mayoría de categorías están tituladas en inglés, que sino existe la categoría podrías crearla pero debes conocer más a fondo y estar más familiarizado con las categorías (por ejemplo hace poco creé esta), y que debes tener cuidado con la sobrecategorización, es decir, esta imagen del Teatro Colón bien podría ir en la categoría de "Plaza San Martín" ya que dicho teatro se encuentra en dicha plaza, pero ya existe la categoría Category:Teatro Colón (Lima) que se encuentra dentro de la categoría de Plaza San Martín, con lo cual debe ir en su lugar correcto y no "duplicarse". A lo mejor es mucha información de golpe, pero es necesario avanzar en el proceso de colaboración, que por cierto, te agradezco enormemente, hermosas fotos! Saludos y estoy para lo que necesites.
