Bitte gebe beim Hochladen von Bildern in die Commons auch immer eine passende Kategorie an oder füge die Bilder zu einem Artikel (englisch: Gallery) hinzu. Denn Bilder ohne Kategorie bzw. die nicht in Artikeln verlinkt sind können per Suchfunktion nicht gefunden werden ! Ich weis, es ist nicht immer einfach eine Kategorie zu finden. Suche Bilder zu dem Thema. Bei diesen Bildern sollte (hoffentlich) bereits eine Kategorie eingetragen sein. Verwende diese dann - wenn sinnvoll. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

GDelhey, the City of Phoenix, Arizona is preparing a publication on significant buildings. We are focusing primarily on Modern architecture built between 1945 and 1975, but we are interested in all kinds of architecture in cities throughout the world. We would like to include your photo (La_Rotonda_Schnee.jpg) in the publication. Aufnahmen[edit]

Hallo, Gabriele! Bei meinen Aufnahmen von den Baudenkmälern im Kahlgrund treffe ich immer wieder auf Bilder, die du schon vor vielen Jahren von den Denkmälern gemacht hast und auf denen die Motive so vorzüglich dargestellt sind. Kürzlich traf ich auf die Abbildung der Wendelinuskapelle in Brücken, die ich durch weitere Abbildungen ergänzt habe. Ich wollte eigentlich, dass deine Aufnahme von der Kapelle vor meinen steht, was jedoch nicht geklappt hat. Erst bei der Aufnahme von dem Motiv im Innern der Kapelle gelang es, worüber ich mich gefreut habe, denn es sollte auch eine Anerkennung sein, dass du die Wikipedia-Artikel schon so früh und lange vor mir mit wertvollen Aufnahmen bereichert hast.
