Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

St Petersburg muraqqa

Hello Footpathandstile, thank you for sharing some more gems from the St Petersburg muraqqa. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble opening the images from the same link myself; I can only see them in a small version side by side.[1] Since you seem to be able to view them in full size, could you please upload image 191 ("Shah with a dignatory..."), 52 ("Sacrifice of Abraham"), 53 ("Venus & Cupid"), and 49 ("The Holy Spirit Descending upon Christ, Mary and Joseph") to Commons? Those would be some great additions.

PS: Could you also upload plate 190 ("The Bestowal of a Ring. Audience of the Grand Vizier, Shah Quli Khan") to overlay this existing file?[2] The version from your website is of higher quality.

Hello LouisAragon,

I talked with the supervisor for the slide collection. Sadly the only slides that are available for public view/download are Slides 254-445.

Harvard doesn't own the rights to the rest of the images (Slides 1-253 were digitized from a book), so non-affiliates can only see the thumbnails. I'm not affiliated with Harvard, so I can't see them either. Footpathandstile (talk) 01:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
