Underexposure?[edit]

What is meant by under and over exposure (ex. here). My QIC are often criticized for them, but I don't know what is meant by them. Not enough / too much light? Is it fixable (in GIMP?)--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 17:23, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Vienna state opera[edit]

Sorry but this is the only way I cna find to contact you/

I am writing on behalf of the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency about gaining permission to reproduce an image submitted by you of the Vienna State Opera.

We would like to include the photo in a standards file for citizenship. Standards files aim to improve learning and teaching in schools throughout England. They include examples of pupils’ work to show secondary school teachers the standards they should expect of their pupils.

The publication will be published as a pdf on the National Strategies website: http://www.nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/node/157533.

Printed copies may also be distributed to secondary schools in England.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at [e-mail address redacted for privacy reasons --Florian Prischl (talk) 20:58, 30 October 2010 (UTC)].[reply]

Hiking Boots on sand[edit]

Could I use this picture for part of a school project? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.208.208.85 (talk) 02:42, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late reply. Absolutely! You can do so with the Creative Commons License I applied to the photo. As you can see on the image page, you can use the picture in your school project if you mention my name (something like "Photo by Florian Prischl, CC-BY-SA 3.0"). If you do not change the picture significantly, that's all you need to do. If you have any further questions, just ask. Let me know how your project goes! :) Kind regards, --Florian Prischl (talk) 11:49, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image use[edit]

Hi Florian Prischl

We are writing a book on spices and herbs.

The title is “Krydderleksikon med urter og smakstilsetninger” (Encyclopedia of spices and herbs). Print run is 5000 copies and the book will be published in May this year. It will be illustrated with photos of all the plants.

Most of the photos are already provided for but we still miss some picture.

We have found your photo of Capparis spinosa on the Internet and we wonder if you kindly will let us use the photo in our book.

permission to use photos[edit]

Hi Florian,

I would like to use some of your photos from the Sinai on the site of Sheik Mousa (http://www.sheikmousa.com) in St.Catherine. I am busy re-doing the site, but could use some great photos to spruce things up a bit. The photos I'm looking at are: Caravan in Sinai; Hikers in wadi on Sinai; Hiking on Mount Sinai and the panorama Mount Sinai northeast to south. Thanks and looking forward to your reply, Aaldrik Mulder http://www.tour.tk - cycling around the world since 2006 info@tour.tk —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.233.33.170 (talk) 02:52, 03 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
