Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.

I know this may seem like a bit of a longshot, and I completely understand if you do not want to do it, but one of the media files for the coat of arms of Prussia that was referenced in one of your Prussia coat of arms (this one: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/61/Preussen1709.jpg) does not really look like it, and I was hoping you would be willing to make an svg of it. Ok, tudo bem. A oficial mesmo é essa com os punhos do Pedro I do Brasil que vc fez ficou muito boa, valeu. Vc conhece o que foi a ECO-92? Um evento internacional da ONU que teve no Brasil em 1992, lembro que tal evento tinha uma linda logomarca com o morro do Pão de Açúcar, mas não encontrei nenhuma versão dela no Commons. It's about the words "Liberdade" and "Union", which should be the other way around and instead of an olive branch, there should be sugarcane. I don't have a source for that, but a more likely color for the background seems to me to be light blue, as cyan is difficult to obtain with natural dyes. [2] [3].

Emblem of Afghanistan (1926-1928)[edit]

Hi, I need help from a graphic designer who can correct SVG files. These are the old symbols of Afghanistan () Currently, these files contain a drawing of a mosque identical to the one used in the 1990s. I have reconstructed a more suitable image, but I can only create in PNG format. . I based my drawing on coins and stamps from that period [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] , I also noticed that since 1926 different versions of the emblem differ much less from each other than before. You can also upgrade olive branch leaves.


- This flag existed for less than a month and it is not known how exactly it turned out, but I don't think the king would have reactivated the previous version of the emblem, and this file shows the version from 1919. Keep the star but replace the building. I suspect there was still a star on that flag.


- This is the flag that Amanullah Khan used when he tried to regain power during the civil war. I think that my reconstruction version is also more likely.

- This is the flag used under Mohammad Nadir Shah's rule, before the introduction of the new emblem design. The 1926 version of the emblem is clearly visible on coins corresponding to this period. [10][11] I'm not sure about the star myself, but FOTW shows that it was there. [12]

Slight issue with your Missile General Bureau flag[edit]

You did a great job with it but as I was remaking its ICBM insignia I found out that a number of things were wrong about it, for example on all of the ICBMs that I saw the insignia was placed at the angle that I created it. Again, Insignia_of_Hwasong_17.svg is not perfect so I wouldn't just embed it into MGB flag without making some corrections. The corrections that are needed are a little out of my skillset. Hello, I am looking for an experienced graphic designer who can create new flags. I would like you to make 11 flags used by old shipping companies. These are the most complicated flags that can be made in this category, I'm asking you, because you can create coats of arms.

  9. Company of Watermen and Lightermen, is an old guild from the City of London and this flag should be referred to as "Ensign" [33] [34]
  10. Royal Hungarian Maritime Company "Adria" [35] (1882-1918)
  11. w:Österreichischer Lloyd, flag used until 1919. The flag was navy blue and featured a yellow logo. The logo consists of an anchor with an intricate monogram, ribbons with the inscription and Imperial Crown of Austria. The crown was drawn with gemstones without their colors, marked only with outlines, but with red filling. The flag appeared in two versions differed in two ribbons sticking out from the crown, sometimes this element was missing. I am asking for both versions.
