First steps tutorial

Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki - it is really easy.

Getting help

More information is available at the Community Portal. You may ask questions at the Help desk, Village Pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons. You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your Graphics abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal Gallery
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
  • Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
  • To link to an image page, write this: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], it makes this: Image:Foo.jpg
  • If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper

  • Did you want to rename or move a file? Simply upload the file again and mark the old one like this: {{bad name|Correct name}}

Deleting copyrighted images[edit]

Imagens de naruto[edit]

Sobre as imagens do naruto eu gostaria de dizer que as tirei da página inglesa do wikipedia. Se as imagens que coloquei são copyright então as outras também serão, não? Responde sff.

Bot[edit]

Obrigada :P. Bem, esse bot para mim é um problema, estamos fartos de receber reclamações. No fundo actua como uma conta pública e é difícil ver quem andou a carregar o quê, porque qualquer caramelo pode usá-lo e pôr um nome *qualquer* no campo "usuário"... Por isso, temos de ir revendo os uploads dele, mas o bot é tão activo que dá uma trabalheira dos diabos. Estão a ser carregadas imagens da categoria das "a verificar" ou só das verificadas? Ah sim, já me tinha esquecido que o bot categoriza por wiki (foi a maneira que ele encontrou de nós podermos rever os uploads "como faríamos com qualquer usuário, blah blah blah"). Estou entretida numa tradução na 'pédia, mais logo dou uma olhada a essas imagens. Claro que tu também podes rever e ir aprendendo, nós precisamos de mais admins lusófonos no Commons (já estás a ver-te noutro caldinho, não é?... lol) Patrícia msg 15:53, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please help replace this outdated license[edit]

Hello!

Thank you for donating images to the Wikimedia Commons. You have uploaded some images in the past with the license {{PD}}. While this was a license acceptable in the early days of Wikimedia, since January 2006, this license has been deprecated and since October 2008 no new uploads with this license was allowed.

The license on older images should be replaced with a better and more specific license/permissions and you can help by checking the images and adding {{PD-self}} if you are the author or one of the other templates that you can see in the template on the image page.

Escudo do São Bento EC[edit]

Não violei direito autoral algum. Eu desenhei o escudo, sou amigo do pessoal da diretoria do clube, fui devidamente autorizado e não existe nem um outro com um brasão igual. Marquei o desenho como criação própria e não entendi porque foi excluído se o outro escudo (com as estrelas) foi capturado da mesma forma. Quer dizer que basta que eu peça o pessoal da diretoria do clube para subir o desenho na respectiva página do Facebook para que eu possa subi-lo aqui?

Problemas com um editor[edit]

Saudações,

Estou a ter problemas com um editor brasileiro da Wikipedia, chamado Yangua, e agora também na Wikimedia Commons, que tem apagado a maior parte das coisas que acrescento sobre um tio meu, Newton Teixeira um famoso compositor da música popular brasileira. Ele não questiona o que faço nem verifica as fontes que indico, simplesmente apaga e/ou considera que estou a tirar de outros lugares acusando-me de violação de direitos de autor, mesmo quando nestes sítios informam que retiram as informações do Wikipédia, num artigo que fui eu a criar em 2011. O que posso fazer para impedir isto? Neste momento minha conta está bloqueada porque ele me acusou de copiar de alguém uma fotografia de meu tio que foi tirada por minha mãe.
