If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. Help with images[edit]

Hi Eike sauer. I saw your comment on Commons:Deletion requests/File:Eikes Bildschirmproblem.png and was wondering if you might like to help with moving along some of the images that you see which you might feel are not fulfilling the guidelines? There are many ways and on many levels to participate. The simplest is to just ping me with the file name/uploader name when you find stuff, otherwise, please feel free to use these handy tools

  • {{subst:nsd}}, which gives {{no source since|month=__|day=__|year=__}}
  • {{subst:nld}}, which gives {{no license|month=__|day=__|year=__}}
  • {{subst:npd}}, which gives {{no permission since|month=__|day=__|year=__}}

All three automatically leave a message on the user's talk page, and an admin will review the file in seven days or so when it gets to the top of the list. If you see copyright violations, please use {{speedy| reason for saying it's a copyvio }} and an admin will hop right on it. The worst that will happen with any of this is an admin will convert the tag to a deletion request which means you go over there and comment at length why it was on your mind that the file was not right. So you do that, and then they decide to keep or not keep, but it only takes a few clicks more effort! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! We can use all the help we can get! If you want to work through some ready made categories with lots of opportunities for this kind of tagging (i.e. "low hanging fruit"), please let me know, there are lists and lists of images without sources and licenses to look at. And unfortunately not enough volunteers to stay on top of it all. I hope you will consider helping us out by tagging whatever you find!! Cheers! Ellin Beltz (talk) 17:26, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
