Statement

If you are going to do anything to the images I geographically rectify, please do not change color or lighting, or save at a quality lower than what I had it at. I don't mind you if you change the shape of the image, if it is appropriate to. The reason I'm so particular about those images is that it can take me an hour or more to download the HDF subsets from NASA, and another half hour to process them. These files are likely the only images, that have been geo-rectified and are at such high quality, that you will find else where. So if you do anything to the images please, when you save, set the quality bar all the way to 12, because doing otherwise will introduce unnecessary noise and jpeg artifacts, like you did here. Regarding Earth200

Sorry for the misunderstanding earlier. I filed in a SPI report, and turned out that Earth200 was a sockpuppet of IPhonehurricane95 (CaliforniaHurricane25). It is not Inks, see? Again, I apologize for the assumption earlier. - HurricaneSpin (Talk) 00:38, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I don't think that I'm allowed to put it in the main infobox. There is a policy that either a scientific diagram or a full-plant photo must be used as the main image. You're image seems to be accepted so far, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to replace the main image. So sorry. :( BlueHypercane761 (talk) 23:08, 13 April 2014 (UTC)

I wish you good luck with the unblock request! You're a really good contributor, even though you may have skirted with a couple of Wikipedia policies, so I think that the admins should see that after 6 months and remove the block. You've made some really awesome contribs, especially in the field of pictures (I've even added some to my userpages on Wikipedia, and I plan to use more in the future), so I hope that you will be allowed to return to editing on Wikipedia in the near future. . Got it! It was really strange actually..the first 2 months of the block seemed like forever...then I started to forgot about it, and sometimes think about it again, and the more this cycle happened, the more I understanded my immature behavior.

Even though I wasn't told to 'walk away from wikipedia', I felt that this 6 months has really helped me a lot. In fact, I can't wait to thank the admins who helped me. I actually think that the Indefinite block was helpful now. --Earth100 (talk) 03:09, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Remember what you told me about not losing my temper in front of IPhonehurricane95? Well, guess what? He lost his temper on May 15, and as a result, a checkuser indef blocked his 5 newest socks, along with his newest IPv6 mobile IP Address. (His regular IP Addresses are Rangeblocked under 6 separate blocks until June, and they are very likely to be extended.) I guess that he's not getting off the hook anytime soon. . I need to ask you something that I'm not sure on Wikipedia. I have a problem, and that is I sometimes forget to sign in to my account, resulting in using a Ip address to edit Wikipedia. It's my problem and I know it, so I'm trying to remember that every time I edit Wikipedia. But if I do forget, will I get banned for sockpuppeting?? Besides, I'm not really happy about Iphonehurricane, as he was the one who created the Earth101 user page, which also lead to another block for me :(. Eh. Don't worry about that. I have experienced the same thing for the last month too. Yesterday, I forgot to log out and use my default Wikipedia account when I was editing an article there, so I nearly freaked out. Sometimes, I also forget to log in when I am switching between my Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons account. But I think that this is no big deal, because everybody knows that people make mistakes, and because they all know that you aren't doing this to sock (well, I sure hope that they don't). I highly doubt that you will get banned/blocked for forgetting to sign in a couple of times; Wikipedia's policy page even has a section dedicated to explaining to other users to grant leniency to those who forget. Dude, you have great weather eyes! Not all people looks at the sky often. AWESOME SHOTS BTW. The color and resolution is ok, but I highly recommend that you photograph outside a window, and if your camera reduces the tone or color temperature of the image when compared with the actual view, I recommended that you should make the photo as original as possible. Some of them were taken out in the sunlight from my Smartphone, which might explain the quality. I turned up the hue a little to make the colors of the rainbow slightly easier to see. The last image listed was actually taken from under the shade of my car's roof (with the side door open of course), which is why that image is darker in shade. The Sun was really blinding me, and I thought that aiming the phone's camera directly at the Sun was not such a good idea, so I decided to snap it from under the cover of my car. And yeah, there was some commotion at my school about this event. Hey, Earth100, it's alright to feel down every once in a while. I mean, when a certain user picked on me 2 years ago (I won't provide any names), I nearly wanted to quit editing in that particular topic. But then I remembered that he was reverting me only because he didn't like my edits, not because they were illegit, so I went back and reverted his edits half a year later. You see, there are always those dark times in life, but you just can't give up hope. Please stick around, even if you aren't all that into it anymore. Contribute whenever you have the time to, because anything you can contribute will go a long way to improving the world we live in. After all, that why we registered on Wikipedia and on Commons.
