To let you know, this is actually Cupressus arizonica var. glabra (Smooth Arizona Cypress; a commonly planted ornamental tree), not a juniper - MPF 09:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

This is might be Disocactus speciosus, and not a hybrid. A photo of the stems could solve this. Epibase
Thanks MPF! I've been arguing the juniper v. cypress tag for awhile with a friend -- given that she's the conifer specialist and I'm not, I went with her recommendation. Now I feel very, very smug :D dio 09:13, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
