Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

Hi Ahmad! When I went to upload the file on to Wikimedia commons I did check the box that said: "I did not make this" when asked who the author(s) were I answered correctly (I think). The photographer, the model (Tove Lo), the artist who drew the yellow character/lynx, the line then got more blurry when it came to who drew in the barbed wire, if you want to take a look at the original cover you can click here, it's an album cover for the Swedish singer Tove Lo. As you can see the picture in the middle is the same but you can see that there have been some changed in regards to the art of the album cover. So, I don't know who was it who drew in the barbed wire, the lipstick, the flowers, etc... Was it Harley Janes the man who drew the yellow lynx or was it Samuel Burgess-Johnson the Director for Art and Desing for the album. So that is why I added both of them to be sure but it could very well be somebody else who did it, but it seems to be the more logical way of choosing.

In regard to the licensing for the picture, I don't have it. I thought that since I had uploaded it to Wikimedia by answering the questions correctly and truthfully. That the picture would be used without any problems, I gave the source where I found it. If you want I can give you another source for the album cover: https://genius.com/albums/Tove-lo/Sunshine-kitty-paw-prints-edition I think it's a more credible source then a not so well known Taiwanese music streaming service. So feel free to use this as a source. So I don't think that I need a license but I could be wrong.

I can probably tell you with 100% certainty that this will be the album cover that Tove Lo will use for the deluxe reissue of her album Sunshine Kitty. Hi. As far as I can understand, the album cover is not published under a free license. Therefore, this image is a derivative work, but includes at least one unfree part (the album cover), and perhaps other unfree parts as well. Given that the unfree part is the main subject of the image, this image is not allowed on Commons (unless the copyright holder/designer releases the work under a free license, probably via OTRS). The file on the English Wikipedia, w:en:File:Tove Lo - Sunshine Kitty.png, is used in an article under fair use, but fair use is not allowed on Commons. If you think this image can be used under fair use, please upload it to English Wikipedia or another local Wikipedia. But please keep in mind that uploading and using images under fair use has a stricter policy than uploading and using free material. The English Wikipedia's policy is available here.
