These are called Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) (Asteraceae). It is a annual or shortlived perennial native to the eastern United States.

Ok, moc díky, polský název změním tedy na Champasak. (Měl jsem na mysli spíš přepis, české exonymum samozřejmě také neexistuje. Anglický název je též přepis; původní název je navíc tonální.) Jasně, některé mé fotky se objevily na české Wikipedii, dal jsem souhlas s jejich uveřejněním (ještě než jsem je sám začal uveřejňovat tady na Commons). Vzniklo tak ohledně některých nežádoucí zdvojení, které se ale snad již podařilo odstranit. Účet na žádné z Wikipedií nemám, asi bych bohužel na práci wikipedisty neměl čas. SVG country maps

I see from your gallery that you've uploaded vector images in the past, and I'll assume you're already familiar with the basics. To make the flag-map, I start with an SVG of the country outline, which can be obtained from a number of places. I then import this to inkscape, along with an SVG of the country flag. Then, I place the outline where it looks best, then I select the outline and then the flag (in that order). Once you have these selected, I go to Object->Clip->Set. This makes the first object clip the second. Then I group the whole thing, set the page size and save. Please let me know if you have any trouble. Jeff Dahl 19:44, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Where to get country outlines? It's not too hard if you know where to look. If you open Image:A large blank world map with oceans marked in blue.svg, all the country outlines should be there. Just take the one you want and delete the rest. There are other places to get the outlines, depending on what country it is, but the large blank world map should have enough detail to do pretty much any country. Bezva, to by bylo skvělé a velmi užitečné, popisku by možná s obtížemi, ale přeci jen rozuměli lidé nejen v Malé Asii, ale také ve velké části Ruska a Střední Asie (včetně čínského Turkestánu)! Ten użytkownik spod IP 77.255.212.106 to zapewne znany z pl-wiki kolejowy 'wandalizator', nie wszystkie jego zmiany są złe, ale bardzo często wycofywane bo bez ładu i składu, częste wojny edycyjne itd. Dziękuję za medal:) Bardzo się cieszę:) Wielu jeszcze rzeczy niewiem, bo doświadczenie me jeszcze nie duże, więc mam pytanie a propo medalu: czy mam go dodać na swą stronę w Commons czy na Wikipedii, czy do obu? Czy może w ogóle nigdzie? 2. Widzę, po Twojej galerii, że poruszamy się po trochę podobnych rejonach:) Turcja i Bałkany to moje ulubione rejony i mam stamtąd kilkanaście tysięcy zdjęć i chciałbym je tu powrzucać a potem na Wikipedię. Ze Stambułu także, który jak widzę także Ty lubisz:) Ale to wszystko bardzo długo potrwa, bo zdjęć dużo, a one same ważą dużo MB. Na razie zajmuje się Śląskiem Cieszyńskim. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

Dear Wikimedian,

You are receiving this message because we noticed that you voted in Round 1 of the 2022 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in the second round. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

In this second and final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2022.

Round 2 will end at 18 May 2023, 23:59:59 UTC.
