Nisibis[edit]

Nisibis is not correctly situed in the map of Roman Empire 337. Seems that position of Nisibis and Resina are inverted, probably a small mistake while creating the vector or bitmap file. The map is, in my humble opinion, very accurate and the best available at less in the web. bisogno di una mappa del Limes nell Danubio[edit]

Salute Cristiano64,

no parlo bene italiano, ma ho una questione. Sera possibilie per te di fare una mapa del limes nell Danubio per integrare nelle articole sopra le provincie Noricum, Raetia e Pannonia, e per articole spora le legione: Legio I Noricorum, Legio II Italica, Lauriacum, Favianae, Castra Batava, etc ...

Mi piacano molte gle tue mappe e sera molto gentile si potrebbe fare una mappa cosi. Volio fare questi articole per la wikipedia tedesca e anche per la wikipedia bávara (dialecto de Austria e Baviera). No e necessario che il text e gli nome delle città romane sono in tedesco, e sufficente quando sono in latino. Podra essere similare a la tua mappa Germania Magna jpg.jpg, ma con un poco piu detagli al Danubio, e meno detagli al Rino.

Sera possibile di fare una mappa cosi per me?

Hello, i wanted to ask you this.In your maps of the Illyrian revolt you have the Celegeri and the Celengeri.I cant find anything om the CeleNgeri while i can find material on Celegeri.Was it a typo and it was intented to be Celegeri or is it something else? Posto che la responsabilità è tua in quanto caricatore del file, non posso decidere io ;) Dimmi tu quindi se pensi ci siano ancora problemi, se devo o no cancellare il file: io ho solo espresso il mio parere (non sono un avvocato), e i dubbi ovviamente permangono, certezze non ce ne sono. La versione a bassa risoluzione è già una sicurezza in più (provvedo a cancellare la versione ad alta risoluzione), e secondo me dovrebbe bastare ad evitare guai, ma ovviamente non è una certezza al 100%.--Trixt (talk) 09:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC) P.S. ho aggiunto inoltre l'avviso {{Soprintendenza}} per avvisare eventuali riutilizzatori[reply]
Ho cancellato il file; in ogni caso si può ripristinare in qualsiasi momento. Armature romane (o quasi)[edit]

Ciao, no so se avevi notato quella foto sulla statua/decorazione del palazzo della mia città che avevo messo nella talk di EH101 in it.wiki. Lui non mi ha più risposto in merito ma volevo sapere se potrebbero servire come descrizione, sempre non siano elaborazioni artistiche lontane dalla rigorosa verità storica. Se vuoi dare loro un'occhiata le puoi trovare in Category:Gran Guardia (Rovigo); sono foto un po' vecchiotte fatte con precedenti fotocamere ma se ne vedi una che può essere interessante più di altre vedo di farti un book fotografico con quella appena acquistata (non proprio professionale ma ottima di fascia medio bassa). Quella che mi hai sottoposto è (Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works di Stanković), proprio la prima della lista "nera". Non vorrei tediarti con la necessità di disporre di immagini della serie "ci posso fare quello che voglio a qualsiasi livello, anche usarla per farci i soldi citando solamente il babbione che me l'ha (quasi) regalata" ma è un dogma di Commons (ed in generale di WM). Se tu avessi voluto provare a caricarla con il [Flinfo Tool dove nella seconda riga c'è Image repository con il menù a tendina che da come alternative (per ora) Flickr, ipernity e panoramio, ti sarebbe uscito l'avviso che dice "Non posso caricarla!"

L'unica alternativa è contattare via mail il suo autore chiedendo che modifichi la licenza in modo da poterla riutilizzare su WP. Per esperienza però ti dico che chi già usa in modo consapevole questo tipo di licenza difficilmente si farà convincere mentre, per assurdo, è più facile con le foto © in quanto i portali come questi applicano la licenza di default se non interviene l'uploader. Attenzione però! In alcuni casi il sito che accoglie l'immagine mette tra gli articolini scritti in piccolo che una volta uppata loro se ne appropriano i diritti da cui se ne deduce che se io uppo in un forum di discussione una mia foto non specificando nulla e questi hanno quel disclaimer in qualche pagina del sito anche se io volessi successivamente cambiare la licenza il proprietario potrebbe anche esigere un indennizzo. Non ti voglio in alcun modo spaventare, per carità, anche perché comunque in Italia si fa quel cavolaccio che si vuole, ma le normative ci sono anche se non applicate o difficilmente applicabili dalla legge italiana, comunque sia in Commons sono talebani in tal senso e se lo scopo primario è non finire in alcun modo nei guai se esiste un presupposto simile l'admin di turno dovrebbe cancellare a vista anche queste immagini. Scusa il romanzo e mi dispiace di non poter fare nulla per accontentarti (prova comunque a contattare l'autore via mail, al massimo ti dice di no on non ti risponde...) :-)--Threecharlie (talk) 15:54, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Puoi usarle, indicando pero' correttamente che si tratta di parti estrapolate (ed eleborate) da altre immagini di cui indicare l'autore, per es con il template {{Extracted from}}. Guarda per es File:FeudiImperiali - Genova.jpg presa da File:FeudiImperiali.jpg. Se le usi per evidenziare delle strade, prima di modificarle in tal senso potrebbe essere utile lavorare sui livelli di luminosità con un programma di fotoritocco, in modo da migliorare il contrasto e diminuire il rumore nelle zone bianche. --Yoggysot (talk) 23:13, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

L'organigramma sta venendo, ma disegnare le linee prende tempo e non riesco a finirlo in serata, spero di poterci lavorare domani sera. Sto usando per la traduzione il nome che le voci hanno su it.wiki, ma alcuni non riesco a identificarle, puoi dirmi a cora corrispondono:

Ho fatto le prime due modifiche e corretto il colore delle linee arancioni in marroncino (mi pare più visibile) e quello del testo nei box gialli da bianco a nero. Per quanto riguarda le centurie sono io che ho tradotto il "193 puis 363 centuries" con "193 più 363 centurie", invece di "193 e poi 363 centurie". Ciao avrei una richiesta abbastanza grossa...[edit]

...le tue cartine sulla storia di Roma sono molto belle (complimenti!) però non capisco come mai abbiano sempre la dicitura "Roma e alleati"? Credo che dovrebbero dire solo "Roma" o "Repubblica Romana" come riportano gli atlanti storici della Treccani o di Britannica.

Penso sia un riferimento ai socii e foederati, ma quelli più che semplici alleati erano confederati a Roma: l'Italia (seppur triparita giuridicamente tra Ager Romanus, Latini e Socii,) già era unita sotto Roma dal 265/264 a.c. Il termine "alleati" può andare bene per il rapporto tra Roma e Cartagine durante la guerra contro Pirro, ma non per Roma e i suoi confederati durante la guerra contro Cartagine. E poi perchè evidenziare solo i socii? C'erano anche le province, i Latini, i territori occupati...insomma secondo me basta dire Roma o Repubblica Romana, cioè citare, come si fa in questi casi, solo la potenza controllante. Altrimenti sembra che Spagna e Grecia siano diventate Romane prima dell'Italia, cosa paradossale.

Non è che potresti eliminare la parola "alleati" da tutte quelle cartine? Anche da quelle in Inglese. Se puoi, eh. Mi rendo conto che ti chiedo una cosa grossa.Barjimoa (talk) 20:47, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
