Reverting on COM:sandbox

I think that your move was a mistake

@Ppkalabika: Hi. Album covers, title cards, film posters are considered fair use material and they're aren't allowed on Wikimedia Commons. However some wikis (i.e English Wikipedia, Hindi Wikipedia) hosts fair use material locally but Simple English Wikipedia doesn't allow file uploading. About creating campaigns on commons

Module:Departments of France

હાય, you completely protected (contrary to what is written, it says "semi-protection") this page so I need you to make a small change. The Côtes-d'Armor department was called Côtes-du-Nord before. So some people created categories like "Côtes-du-Nord in the 19th century" which is the correct name for this time. But, as it is not the name from nowadays, this category can't be shown in templates like {{Departments of France|prefix=:Category:|suffix=in the 19th century}} as the only name in the database is Côtes-d'Armor. So could you please add a line under the line ['22' ] = { "Côtes-d'Armor", qid = 'Q3349', }, that would just say "Côtes-du-Nord", exactly like there are e.g. one line 'Creuse' and one line 'Creuse (department)'. Full protection of the daily changing map for a month

Can I ask you how, from now on, users will be able to update, or request updates regarding the file you protected a few hours ago? This file changes daily, sometimes multiple times daily. Karabakh War Map

Hi. As the author of the Karabakh war map, I cannot make the necessary arrangements for the map (except the progress of the parties). These arrangements can be changes regarding village names and location of settlements. If I am not mistaken, you set a period of 1 month. This period is too long. User:AureliaDragomir

Hi CaptViraj. You previously tried to advise this user about COM:L at User talk:AureliaDragomir#File copyright status, but since then the user has continued to upload logos for professional soccer/football teams as their own work. I'm not sure if they just didn't understand your post, don't understand file copyright licensing or just don't care one way or another. The three files I tagged for speedy deletion all seem to be above COM:TOO United States and not otherwise PD per COM:ROMANIA; if, on the other hand, you think it's better off to discuss them at COM:DR then please let me know. FWIW, there are local non-free files of each logo uploaded English Wikipedia as non-free content; so, at least English Wikipedia is treating them as COM:FAIR. Regardless, I do think this user might be misunderstanding what "own work" means when it comes to Commons.

Would you mind taking a look a this; perhaps one last warning (i.e. {{End of copyvios}}) would be better than a block at this time if the files are a problem and Commons can't keep them. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:34, 30 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi CptViraj. For the last month, I experienced a lot of psychological pressure because I have been personally attacked by User:地下高雄. I feel hurt by that saying ”但就像心理疾病一樣“ (translate into English: ”but it's like mental illness“). His words has a direct negative effects on my mind, and steal my energy even more than the mental illness (knowing that I am angry does not mean that I have mental illness), and it takes time for me to recover from feeling weary, regretful and unwise. A small pro tip

It does not matter if it is single or multiple IPv6 addresses from a /64 range. Just block the whole /64 subnet. The point is that common practice of telecoms is to assign a /64 range to one customer – virtually you may treat a /64 range as a single IPv6 address. There is even an interesting proposal related to /64 ranges: m:Community Wishlist Survey 2021/Admins and patrollers#Improve display of multiple IPv6 contributions by a single editor. --jdx Re: 11:04, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry, abusively using multiple accounts

Othayoth shankaran and Kalangot are the same person abusively using multiple accounts. Othayoth has been repeatedly uploading copyright violated images [2], including a $65,000 priced painting as his own work in public domain. English Wikipedia has already identified sockpuppetry, both these accounts belongs to Adhithya Kiran Chekavar (see Kalangot), Othayoth shankaran was indeffed for WP:NOTHERE and behavioral issue, he is also a sock of Adhithya Kiran Chekavar, evidences can be seen at the SPI and the CU result is "likely". I got additional evidence on my own investigation, see this edit, if you open that reference it's a self-published manual written by "Adhithya Kiran", who is User:Adhithya Kiran Chekavar. At commons, both have uploaded image and title with same content Othayoth, Kalangot.

Additionally, Vvian980 is also the same user. Both Vvian980 and Othayoth uploaded the same [3],[4] on the same date (6 October 2020) and both uploaded the same $65,000 priced painting of Unniyarcha with the same deceptive rationale - [5], [6] (there was also a sock named Unniyarcha in English Wikipedia). 2409:4073:4E9B:9335:FD54:F3E4:C913:12CB 12:00, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
