Castelo[edit]

Boa noite Carlos! a imagem do castelo já está no artigo. A transferência é simplíssima: basta vc copiar a imagem em full size (abra a imagem em outra janela e clique sobre ela novamente: ela abre e logo diminui, então aparece um quadrinho no canto inferior direito, clique nele que ela volta ao tamanho grande, daí clique sobre ela com o botão direito do mouse e salve para seu computador), depois carrega-a no commons clicando em "enviar arquivo", e quando aparecer o quadro descritivo inserir os dados necessários, sempre fazendo um link para o endereço da imagem original e do autor, além de data, permissão, seu nome como carregador e outras infos que vc julgar interessantes.

Vá até a imagem Image:Rathfarnham Castle.jpg e clique em "editar", vc verá a anatomia do quadro descritivo, assim basta copiar o modelo e fazer as adaptações para cada caso. se tiver outras dúvidas dê um grito que lhe dou mais dicas. um abraço! tetraktys 23:25, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Appreciate the follow-up comments. Just so you know, I am living in the Azores, and am familiar with the place names: I am a GIS technician, Masters in Geography, and working at the Centro de Vulcanologia GIS department in Ponta Delgada for a computer/mapping company. Regarding the village of Vila do Porto, I understand that Category:Vila (Vila do Porto) is not the best option, but trying to keep the parish/municipality categories consist, I thought it would be more appropriate then Category:Vila do Porto (Vila do Porto). I tried a similar name change with the parish of Velas (Category:Velas (Velas)) and others editors suggested not changing it from Category:Velas (town), which in itself is completely incorrect.Ruben JC (Zeorymer) (talk) 16:46, 30 October 2010 (UTC) Maybe[reply]

Espero que não te importes, mas fiz eu mesmo a categorização, pois a árvore de categorias de Portugal ainda está muito pobre, e assim aproveitei para criar mais uns raminhos... Então o tio Berardo fez mais uma das suas folies, desta vez no Bombarral? O conteúdo é muito bom, mas o lugar não ajuda nada.. :\ Compara essa secura com o jardim oriental que ele fez no Monte: Monte Palace Tropical Garden. Oi Carlos Luis M C da Cruz, yes, it is fixed now.
For future: If there is a image mis-rotated in an article you can go to the file page on Commons and then use the "request rotation" link directly below the image on the file page to order the bot. In general some people here at Commons try to fix all images which have wrong rotation information - so the problem should be gone in some weeks. Just reply here is you want. Criar novas categorias[edit]

É muito fácil criar novas categorias. Basta no fundo da página escrever o nome da categoria pretendida e gravar. Em seguida clicar no nome da categoria (que estará a vermelho) e editar a nova página colocando as categorias desejadas. No caso da Categoria "Lugar dos Afectos" coloquei "Category:Aveiro, Portugal" e "Category:Amusement parks in Portugal" ambas dentro de duplos parênteses rectos!

Image rotation[edit]
