Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Buchraeumer!

It should be fairly easy; a simple oval selection of the images just within the frame should save most of the image while removing the outer edge. I'll open it up when I get a chance later today and see what I can do :) -- Editor at Largetalk 12:33, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the frames in the jpg, and also uploaded a transparent PNG (at right). I'm sorry it took so long, but hopefully the edit is what you were looking for :) -- Editor at Largetalk 18:16, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jane Grey[edit]

Hi Buchraeumer, with File:Jane Grey.jpg and File:Streathamladyjayne.jpg we have two versions of this portrait. The first, File:Jane Grey.jpg, is obviously taken from the NPG website and bears the NPG copyright warning justifiably. The second version, File:Streathamladyjayne.jpg, also had the NPG warning but, since the reproduction was not copied from NPG, the warning was placed wrong. I transfered the information from the first to the second version and searched for a good source, I believe I found one with http://www.somegreymatter.com/streatham.htm. OK? I believe that File:Streathamladyjayne.jpg was not created by Pendragon09 on Wikipedia but was copied from some website. IIn the EXIF we find the comment "Cooper 05/11/14" - maybe this is a hint on the true creator of this good reproduction. With the two versions we now have two good files with accurate file descriptions. Do you agree?Martin H. (talk) 20:18, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
