Tingshustunneln

Hi Boberger, where are these "murals" File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 07.JPG (File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 06.JPG, File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 05.JPG, File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 04.JPG, File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 03.JPG, File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 02.JPG, File:Acke Oldenburg Målade klinker i Tingshustunneln i Huddinge 01.JPG) originally located? Are the terms for Commons:FOP#Sweden completely fulfilled, i.e. located permanently at public places outdoors?
In addition, when uploading images of sculptures and similar works of art, which are still copyrighted, but are covered by Commons:FOP#Sweden, please add the template {{FoP-Sweden}} to the image description. --Túrelio (talk) 14:22, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for reminder of use of specific template for such pictures.
The paintings of Acke Oldenburg, who as it happens was a brother of Claes Oldenburg, on ceramic tiles in Tingshustunneln, are located on the walls of a Swedish Communications Infrastructure Board (Trafikverket) owned bicycle and footpath tunnel under the railway tracks close to Huddinge centrum southwest of Stockholm in Sweden, see coordinates below
Object location59° 14′ 19.15″ N, 17° 58′ 54.46″ E Kartographer map based on OpenStreetMap.View all coordinates using: OpenStreetMapinfo
.
The tunnel must be considered as definitely outdoor, as the tunnel is completely open at both ends. The art work is permanently located there, and it is also an integrated part of the construction. Regards Boberger (talk) 14:56, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
O.k., thanks. Let's hope he or his heirs/agency is different that his brother's[1]. --Túrelio (talk) 15:01, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. I believe we can look forward to another reception of these images.Boberger (talk) 15:06, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Notification about possible deletion

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Abuse of administrators rights

Moved from COM:ANV to COM:AN/U. This is NOT a clear case of vandalism. --Steinsplitter (talk) 13:14, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

The file has been restored. FYI, DSchwen is a he, you can see his real name on one of his photos, for example and him, in person on his user page. Note that we administrators daily delete about 1000 copyright violations so errors like this may happen. Next time, you can simply ask the deleting admin, first. They will likely apologize, restore the file in question and you'll get some friendly and warm words in return. Kind regards -- Rillke(q?) 21:45, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Thank you very much for your action and for your comment. I realize the burden of an administrator in taking care of pictures violating copyright and answering to requests for deletion. However, I also have a problem on my side as an Wikimedia editor. I upload hundreds of photos on (non-abusive) objects of art in Sweden every year and will continue with that (I would guess that only in Sweden there are 10,000 sculptures and other permitted outdoor objects of art) and always illustrate articles with them. I nowadays try as much as possible to remember to include a template "FoP-Sweden" in the image description, but for earlier uploaded photos that was never the standard, and keeping full track of such earlier uploaded photos is not really feasible.
Thus, it is really a problem to get an photo that is OK deleted without getting a notice by the deleting administrator (either that it is in for a deletion question procedure, or that the image has been deleted). There is no possibility for me to routinely otherwise get to know when a picture of mine has been deleted, as there are such a volume of Wikipedia articles with my photos to patrol. In this specific case it just happened that the person requesting deletion had an afterthought.

That´s why I reacted not only on the specific case level. Regards Boberger (talk) 23:38, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Hello Boberger, the allegations of administrator rights abuse against me sounded pretty specific. It may be easy to forget that there are human being behind internet names. If you want to not act "only on the specific case level" an RFC about deletion practices may be a better choice. But I suggest you make yourself familiar with our policies beforehand. Thank you for participating in Wiki Loves Monuments 2013! Please help with this survey.

Dear Boberger,
Thank you for contributing to Wiki Loves Monuments 2013, and for sharing your pictures with the whole world! We would like to ask again a few minutes of your time.

Thanks to the participation of people like you, the contest gathered more than 365,000 pictures of cultural heritage objects from more than 50 countries around the world, becoming the largest photography competition to have ever taken place.

You can find all your pictures in your upload log, and are of course very welcome to keep uploading images and help develop Wikimedia Commons, even though you will not be able to win more prizes (just yet).

If you'd like to start editing relevant Wikipedia articles and share your knowledge with other people, please go to the Wikipedia Welcome page for more information, guidance, and help.

To make future contests even more successful than this year, we would like to invite you to share your experiences with us in a short survey. Please fill in this short survey in your own language, and help us learn what you liked and didn't like about Wiki Loves Monuments 2013.

Kind regards,

the Wiki Loves Monuments team

Persons often dislike portraits of them, that others think are OK. I do not agree with DL:s view, but in think there is a problem with the one you have uploaded, and the problem is that it's not a very accurate depiction. He dos not look like the image, which I believe is because the perspective is odd and that the photo is taken from below. On the other side, it is of course pleasant also to please the person depicted. Boberger (talk)<

Wiki Loves Monuments är på gång igen!

This is an invitation to participate in the Swedish part of the Wiki Loves Monuments competition. You are getting it since you participated in 2013. The message below is in Swedish, should this be an issue you can get more information in English here or drop a message on my talk page.

Hej Boberger,

Jmabel ! talk 23:44, 30 July 2017 (UTC)

Hi. I just came across this image, and was confused because the caption talks about six ships, but the photograph clearly only contains five ships. And also the rather grey sky didn't look much look like anything I would describe as an Indian Summer. But when I looked more closely, I can see that the original upload (by you, on 5 September 2007) fits the caption perfectly. But a subsequent upload (also by you, on 16 April 2008) is of quite a different photograph. I wonder if this is a case of accidentally overwriting the wrong image that has lain unspotted for nearly 10 years. I think either the image needs to be reverted, or the caption corrected. Better still, keep both images with different names and captions. -- Chris j wood (talk) 18:15, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

You are of course correct regarding the number of ships. I have deleted the name of the missing ship in thhe text. Normally it should have been there at its normal berth place, but it was not at the time of taking the photo- Boberger (talk) 22:52, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
