Vamos a ver, no se que parte de modificación o alteración no entiendes, te lo tengo que explicar????. Para que una obra sea derivada tiene que existir o lo uno o lo otro. Ya explique en su momento que esta imagen habia sido creada desde cero por mi, en photoshop, pero eso si tomando referencia de otra para no acabar pintando un cuadro abstracto. Insisto que parece que no se entiende, DESDE CERO. Partido comunista[edit]

Acabo de editar la foto File:Fundación PCA.jpg que subiste ayer, para que se noten menos los "puntitos" (efecto secundario de algunos escaneos) y tenga un aspecto más uniforme; pero sentite libre de revertir a la versión original si te parece que la nueva imagen no es una mejora Belgrano (talk) 04:03, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lo de los "puntitos" no es por el estado del libro, es por el sistema que se usó al imprimir el libro (le dicen "Half Toning"), que no se lleva muy bien con los scanners. Algo simple que se puede hacer después de escanear es abrir la imagen escaneada con el Microsoft Photo Editor (herramientas de Office), y en "efectos" elegir "suavizar", seguramente al máximo. Sé que hay sistemas y métodos más elaborados que eso pero no los domino; pero salvo que uno esté pensando en presentar una imagen como destacada creo que con esto una imagen escaneada queda razonablemente aceptable. If you mean "UPI" as United Press International, an photo agency, you might rethink the license template because just because an image was published in Argentina but it comes from an international, U.S. based photo service it is is no way public domain - not even in Argentina. --Martin H. If UPI is a shortcut for an argentinian photographer or someone working for the newspaper everything is ok, if it is w:en:United Press International the image should be deleted. In this case the argentinian newspaper not own the copyright, argentinia is not the country of origin, so argentinian copyright is not relevant - in this case. --Martin H. Hola Banfield. Te ruego que tengas cuidado cuando mandas imágenes a borrar como File:Radcliffe.jpg o File:Radcliffe2.jpg. La primera (y por ende, al ser trabajo derivado, la segunda) pasaron la revisión de flirckreview. Debes saber que las licencias libres son irrevocables y las copias de lo que se haya obtenido vía licencia libre permanecerá libre para siempre tal y como establecen los términos legales de la licencia CC-BY-2.0. Es por ello que no nos afecta si luego el autor de flirck cambia la licencia, si se obtuvo por licencia libre, libre seguirá siendo. Ve aquí. Hombre, tanto como ignorancia... Ha sido un despiste como los que podemos tener todos algún que otro día :-) Recuerdo que hace algún tiempo cometí el mismo con unas imágenes de flirck.

No, las licencias no son un tema fácil, tienen multitud de términos y algunas, aunque aparentemente iguales, no lo son; los textos oficiales están en inglés, etc... Es una de las cosas que más problemas da en commons.

Therefore, Commons cannot legally rely on fair use provisions.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Yes, you're probably right. I simply copied the license mentioned in the other banknotes. I don´t know the official position of Commons in relation to currencies not listed on Commons:Currency but I suppose it could be "Kept" unless shown to be protected by copyright. CC BY 2.5[edit]

Lo que importa de verdad son los términos, no el "nombre" de la licencia. Es licencia autoriza compartir, obras derivadas, uso comercial, y requiere atribución; todo eso es compatible con los requerimientos de Commons.

De hecho, esa licencia es realmente una variante del CC BY 2.5 normal. Mientras los términos sean los mismos, cualquiera puede hacer un "Atribución 2.5 Argentina", "Atribución 2.5 PJ", "Agrupación 2.5 UCR"; hasta podrías inventarte un "Atribución 2.5 Banfield" si quisieras (ese tipo de licencias están en Category:User custom license tags).

Por el momento, podés subir las imágenes de esa página usando el {{Cc-by-2.5}} normal. Si te parece necesario, podés crear el {{Cc-by-2.5-ar}}. Una licencia es, en términos de edición, una plantilla como cualquier otra. Para el código, copiate el código de alguna otra 2.5 de Category:CC license tags, y corregí los detalles necesarios (el link a la licencia, la categorización automática, la banderita, y no sé si algo más). Como hacer para subir logo del Frente de Izquierda y personalidades[edit]

Te escribo nuevamente y te reitero la invitación si puedes, a chatear por IRC o hablar por Skype para que me puedas dar una mano y cumplir lo necesario para una buena carga de información en wikipedia y wikimedia, cuestión a la que he decidido abocarme.

Te agradezco la comprensión al incluir todos los candidatos en el artículo de elecciones de capital, creo que es el mejor criterio realmente para que haya una igualdad de condiciones para todas las opciones electorales.

He visto que has eliminado por infringir normas File:Frente de Izquierda y de los Trabajadores.jpg. También has marcado al archivo File:MBregman.jpg con solicitud de eliminación.

No me queda claro cual es la norma que infringen estos archivos, ¿me podrías indicar cual es´a fin de solucionar el problema?

Entiendo tu preocupación y la de Wikipedia, para que en sólo haya imágenes protegidas y tengo toda la intención de poder seguir los pasos correctos para poder subir imágenes que cumplan estas normas (aunque no las comparto entiendo que debo adecuarme a ellas).

Como te imaginarás ni el Frente de Izquierda, ni ninguno de los candidatos tienen objeción por que se utilicen dichas imágenes.

He leído algunos de los links de wikimedia commons, pero realmente no me termina de quedar claro, como debo hacer para subir imagenes, por un lado del logo del Frente de Izquierda y por el otro de candidatos de la cual puedo obtener las fotos que sean necesarias.

Siguiendo con mi política, si algo o alguien puede ser ofendido o alguna norma violada por la existencia de ese fichero, que se borre ya mismo, ayer mejor que hoy.

Dicho esto, añadiré que me parece un sinsetido, ya que son las monedas de curso legal de Bosnia Hercegovina (¡hay quien cree que Bosnia no tiene moneda propia y se sorprende al ver esa foto!), pero, ¡qué narices!, si sufren de timidez institucional o lo que sea, pues que se borre la imagen y no se hable más.

Hola Banfield!! No logro como llegar a la consulta de borrado ya que no estoy tan familiarizado con commons pero te lo explico aquí. El logo lo diseñé yo en mi trabajo anterior, para algo que necesitaba en ese momento. Tiene algunas variaciones del original pero basicamente es el mismo, aunque creo que ahora se cambió el slogan y se usa "otro país está en marcha" en algunos FG (lo podés ver en el banner que hay atras de esta foto: http://www.frentegrande.org.ar/wp-content/uploads/adriana-puiggros-6.jpg) pero creo que sigue siendo válido este. Picture of the Year voting round 1 open[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Dear Banfield,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Hola Banfield. Quería preguntarte si es posible borrar las redirecciones a archivos que fueron renombrados. Quería ver si se puede borrar File:Nissanvanettecoach2013.jpg (que redirige a File:Nissanvanettecoach2014.jpg). Hola, una pregunta relacionada pero en realidad generica, si un empleado del gobierno nacional o trabajador contratado a tal fin es comicionado por un gobierno para que les realize un diseño o tome una foto, como puede ser un billete o el logo de casa rosada o el logo para el link de youtube de la casa rosada que publica en su pagina con licencia CC BY 2.5 AR

segun vos esa foto o diseño no podria ser libre por mas que el contenido de la pagina este licenciada con CC BY 2.5 AR?

quizas pueda ser como meterme la llave en la nariz, pero, un buen ejemplo de eso, es una foto, de la escultura que representa a un personaje de historieta como lo puede ser clemente. cuya foto creada para y proveniente de la pagina del gobierno de la ciudad de buenos aires (CC BY 2.5 AR) ahi quien es el titular de derechos de autor de la imagen que yo subi? caloi? el escultor? el gobierno de la ciudad de buenos aires que encargo y compro la realización de dicho diseño y luego de emplazarla en la via publica dentro de su territorio la mando fotografiar?

es un terreno complicado querer atribuir a terceras personas los derechos de un gobierno el gobierno esta formado por personas, empleados y contratados para realizar determinados trabajos PARA el gobierno.

a que me refiero? a esto que YO subi [2] y a esto otro que yo tambien subi [3] asi como cientos (o mas) de otras imagenes subidas con licencias CC por el gobierno de la republica argentina (casarosada) y el gobierno de la ciudad autonoma de buenos aires. en sus respectivas paginas oficiales.

te pongo como ejemplo esas imagenes que yo subi, para no involucrar a terceros, pero lo hago teniendo la seguridad que son totalmente correctas y legales de subir a commons. y que no hacen otra cosa que beneficiar a la :las personas teneras disponibles tal como se publicaron con sus licencias libres en sus sitios oficiales.

Commons no esta infringiendo ninguna ley al alojar contenido publicado con licencia CC BY 2.5 AR, y la imagen de muestra que yo subi asi como las 2 fotos que aqui mismo de buena fe te especifico no pueden en nincun caso estar violando ninguna ley Argentina por haber sido publicadas mediante dicha licencia, el caso de ejemplo que vos comentas, seria un caso diferente a menos que el gobierno le encomendara realizar un trabajo a Picasso para dicho gobierno y luego publicara el trabajo en su sitio web. lo cual seria diferente a simplemente tomar una imagen de la web de un cuadro de picasso y publicarla en el sitio de casa rosada. lo que no es el caso aqui cabe recordar que si picaso realiza un diseño trabajando para el gobierno de la republica argentina, y el gobierno no diera el dato que el diseño lo realizo picasso, es otro caso diferente tambien. --WiZaRd SaiLoR (talk) 16:06, 16 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WiZaRd SaiLoR: Una obra o escultura emplazada en la vía pública no está en dominio público en Argentina, así la haya encargado el gobierno nacional, municipal o quien fuera. Es titular quien la diseñó. Y la foto de Clemente que mencionás tampoco correspondería que permanezca en Commmons, porque es la reproducción de una obra protegida. Desbloqueo de página de discusión[edit]

Hola Banfield, perdona el tono de mis anteriores mensajes. Supongo que puedes entender que estuviese frustrado por esta discusión circular ("solicita el desbloqueo en tu página", "la página está bloqueada"). Como creo que te ha comentado un compañero común, me gustaría poder solicitar mi desbloqueo. Sin embargo, no puedo hacerlo porque mi página de discusión está bloqueada (o yo no puedo editar en mi página de discusión, que tiene el mismo efecto). Please see this about personal information: "a limited amount of personal information (perhaps a short biography) and a freely licensed tasteful personal photograph or two are usually allowed". Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
To perform file name swaps.
When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Hola, buenos días,

No sé si estás muy activo en Commons últimamente, tampoco quisiera quitar tu tiempo, pero he recibido un DR (Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Fma12) que considero bastante absurdo porque involucra imágenes de archivos anteriores a la fecha del URAA. Ya comenté en el post, pero me gustaría también contar con tu opinión, por ser argentino y por tener una larga historia de contribuaciones aquí.

Si podés tomarte un segundo para comentar y apoyar (en caso que lo consideres correcto, claro) la no eliminación de estas imágenes, sería de mucha utilidad y lo agradecería. Te molesto con esto porque este tipo de nominaciones no sólo me cansa la paciencia, sino que me motiva mucho a no seguir aportando un puto archivo más a la WMF.
