Damon Matthew Wise 24 May 2009 Allowed on timeline Group shot of National Board (yours truly included, as a National Board and Conference Committee member) at Launch of Irish Council of People with Disabilities (11th March 1997 in the Great Hall, Lower Ground Floor, Dublin Castle), in Ireland with Minister of Equality Mervyn Taylor, TD and President Mary Robinson at Great Hall, Dublin Castle during the "rainbow government". ICPD was later "nationalised" in December 1998 by John ("JOD whom thinks he is GOD") O'Donaghue, TD as Minister of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. After battling each other in the courts, and with much egg on his face, resulting in a judge being transferred off circuit after attacking his actions in the membership data protection case (taken by myself and Karen), it was relaunched as People with Disabilities in Ireland Ltd. Another picture with the People's President in in my family album. Ironically after more then a decade under manipulation of the organisation, and pressure in respect of funding, People with Disabilities in Ireland Ltd was closed down after 31st December 2011 - essentially for following orders, in wasting funds and resources on staff seconded by the department, and not doing our job because we were being blocked. Network are in the process of working together with a view to relaunch in the style of ICPD as a volunteer-run body - proposed for the 15th anniversary of this launch. — with Karen Christine Wise.

Thats a little bit too much text for a very simple task. We not need "released for use on Damon Matthew Wise wikipadia information page". The only thing we need is the copyright holders written agreement that anyone, worldwide, can reuse the photo anywhere, anytime for every purpose including modifications and money making purposes. See Commons:Project scope#Required licensing terms. Anyone and commisioned for one person is an important difference. Also use for one article or in specific materials such as election materials and for any purpose is an important difference. There is a very simple email template linked at the permission information pages. Simply fill in the copyright holder, the license that the copyright holder agreed to, the name of the work and let the copyright owner sent the written permission to the given email adress. --Martin H. == "Please release me, let me go" says Damon![edit]

Several days ago Damon sent in new release form, which I copied - original message is not yet showing. "Please release me, let me go" he wrote. Damon is NOT very annoyed and frustrated ad asking where Wiki offices are in Ireland so he can sue your "butt" to get his rights released for his article on wikipedia (substituting a five letter, proper English word for buttocks, not intended as a "cuss-word as Yanklish people would have" - and screaming "AGGGGGHHH - They're a bunch of Effin (Town in County Limerick, used as substitute for a proper substitute word sounding remarkably like and 11th century legal abbreviation, banned by illiterate Yanklish users) ejits - can't understand basic international copyright law to save their lives". All the images of him he gave permission to and sent in declarations on have been blocked. Surely there has to be a simpler way for allowing content of a person to which he holds rights be used in respect of articles on him and his activities.

Please release content to me for use in the articles and not show yourselves to be waste of spaces and "head-burrying morons" (substituted, similar expression to proper English term to describe people who pay too much attention to their buttocks, which in Yanklish also often mistaken for a "cuss").

PLEASE NOTE: CONTENT WAS EDITED IN ORDER NOT TO CAUSE OFFENCE TO NON-INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH READERS WHO HAVE A BAD HABIT TO HALLUCINATE AND DISPLAY A FANTASY AND BELIEVE PROPER ENGLISH EXPRESSIONS ARE "CUSS-WORDS". AspieNo1 (talk) 06:45, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please! Damon Matthew Wise (talk) 07:36, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It would be a criminal offence for Photo Studios and Photographers to be commissioned to take pictures to be released for a subject to distribute and use in media, online and for promotional purposes without them having the rights to use them thus causing a copyright infringement(as well as, if the opposite facilitating a crime in seeking to cause the subjects to use permissions illegally without confirmation). It is also a breach of copyright to have an image of the subject to which they have no right. In so far as Damon Matthew Wise is as person and professionally for the organisations copyright-holder and has signed and released same please stop behaving like fools and undelete all images. In the cases brought by Damon Vs Facebook in respect of his profile page, he proved his identity and rights to use and assert his image and allow it to be used in the context of his profiles, articles, and autism and charity work and is thus released for said purposes and widely available on the internet for such purposes. He has through me and here now stated ans asserted his rights to these images and the catalogues from which they come, and as such wiki is in breach of Irish, European and International copyright by refusing his rights to release his image. AspieNo1 (talk) 10:46, 29 August 2013 (UTC) Property rights and trespass to them in Ireland, under the constitutional right to property is not just civil but a criminal matter. to Permissions, me Hi Cindy

Appologies for the delay in getting the information to you, I am currently going through old records to locate the file. I'm sure you can appreciate I am extremely busy, having been off for a week, but I will get you the relevant information as soon as possible.

In the meantime I can 100% confirm that the pictures in question have full copyright given to Mr. Damon Mathew Wise, I took the pictures myself and have a clear memory of it. We have a company policy not to sell jpegs to customers unless they are sold with copyright given to the customer, otherwise we would have people going to the local photocentres and printing our work with would be illegal, therefore we do not sell jpegs if it is for example a family shoot, we only sell jpegs if it is for corporate use. I hope this helps clear things up a little, again I can fully confirm that Damon has fully copyright of said images.

With kind regards

to me Hi Damon

I'm at a loss as of what to do at this stage. I have spent the morning emailing Cindy, I don't think its that they don't believe that the pictures were taken here, or that I have given you the copyright, she accepts that, it seems they want some license agreement which I don't think I can give, If I do I leave myself open for anyone to use my work.

I'm sorry I could not be of any help to you, I did my best but they are very strict...which is understandable.

Kind regards

Best regards,

16:55 (47 minutes ago)

to me She wouldn't accept that from me earlier, as I took the photo! Copyright laws are quiet strict in that the creator will always retain copyright, even thou I sold you copyright, it was the use of, ie, I still had the copyright of the images but gave you permission to use them. If you read her emails she clearly states to you that you are not the copyright holder, I am.

I would send it as is.

Really no more I can do Damon, have spent so much time on this that I am extremely behind on work, so I must sign off. Best of luck with it and I hope it works out

Use the OTRS system[edit]

The ONLY scheme for releasing pictures to Commons which are the copyright of someone else is the OTRS system. Do not past copies of letters, emails etc here. That will never work.

Please stop posting these items. Please ONLY use the OTRS system to get approval for uploads where someone who is not you owns the copyright. IT is the ONLY way that works. Timtrent (talk) 08:18, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

--- Thanks - Think I have applied for undelete (again?) ... do not seem to know what happens to messages, which they do not post anymore of permissions given. Damon and Diane must have between them posted 30 messages in the last 2 weeks and given between them 60 hours on documenting and proving the pictures - and I get a fraction of those relayed for update by them - just enough to know what was going on - I feel for them and their exhaustion. Nobody seems to appreciate the U.S.A. is a derivation of NOT copyright norm followed by the rest of the world - simple confirmation, proof and declaration by rights-holders ought to be enough. Apples and Oranges, I guess! AspieNo1 (talk) 09:53, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Keep it all very simple. Ignore any differences between USA and the rest of the world. Commons will never change to the way you think it ought to work, It works in the way it works. Never rant, not ever. Above all, use OTRS. People WANT images here, but they want the right licencing. Timtrent (talk) 10:12, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
