Admin news[edit]

Hello,

If you consent for statistics to be published about your actions as an administrator, please sign here: Commons:Administrator permission for statistics. (I expect that most people will not have a problem with it unless you are especially concerned with privacy.)

Also, please be aware that we now have a Commons:Administrators' noticeboard. Please put it on your watchlist, if you haven't already!

cheers, pfctdayelise (translate?) 05:33, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request removal of sysop access[edit]

Hi. I have requested the removal of your sysop access, at meta:Requests_for_permissions#commons:user:Aoineko. Following Commons:Administrators#What_is_expected_from_an_administrator.3F, an administrator with less than 50 edits in 12 months is considered inactive and may have his/her sysop status revoked.

This is not a personal attack on you. If you feel that you will again become active and need the sysop tools, you are of course welcome to apply for adminship again.

Fred Chess 13:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The request was not granted, since you made one edit in April and are thus not inactive. You are still an admin. / Fred Chess 22:12, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. I'm now back after a wiki-break. Aoineko 12:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Petrusbarbygere 20:58, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photo permission[edit]

We sent you an email on Oct 9th about using some of your pictures. Did you receive it?

No, I didn't received any permission request this month. Aoineko 14:11, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photo permission[edit]

I would like to contact you about permission to use several of your photographs from Wikimedia Commons in a book I am working on. Please contact me at jkwalton5@gmail.com at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Administrative notice[edit]

Deutsch

Dear Aoineko. I am writing to you to inform you that because of inactivity, you may lose your adminship on Commons.

Commons has a new policy on admin activity, Commons:Administrators/De-adminship, taken into use on June 13, 2007 (after a two-week poll on the proposed policy's talk page).

If you want to keep your adminship, you have to sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section within 30 days. Note that if you don't make 5 admin actions in the following 5 months, you will then lose the adminship anyways.

Thank you,
abf /talk to me/ 18:42, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How sign at Commons:Administrators/Inactivity section ? (I mean, where and in what form) Aoineko 11:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

De-Admined[edit]

Hi Aoineko. Because you have been inactive for a long period and you have not signed at this page in the last month you lost your adminship on Commons (->meta-request). If you want to be sysop again, please start a new RfA.
Thank you for your long and helpfull work on Commons! abf /talk to me/ 12:52, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I hope to have time in the future to participate again to this great project. Aoineko 13:53, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cordialement. --Pixeltoo (talk) 11:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:Musee_du_Moyen_Age_A02.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
