That Latuff cartoon

The discussion also mentioned changing the categories of this image should it be kept. Since you weren't part of the discussion and since you are the one who closed the discussion, it would be best if you remove irrelevant categories from this image as discussed. Small deletion problem

Thanks for deleting my redundant maps. A small problem though: CommonsDelinker seems to have edited File:Rondebosch OSM map 873px.png after the deletion, resurrecting the page (though not the actual image). Another one is File:Fourniéjulien6.jpg. Something odd must have happened there when you closed the mass DR: the file is gone, but its page still exists. CommonsDelinker did not remove this from the wikipedias where it is used. /Pieter Kuiper (talk) 21:44, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
