File:Ken wapnick and andrew parodi in temecula california.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

About photo "File:Colegio cesar chavez street sign andrew parodi.jpg"[edit]

Hello Andrew Parodi, I am the user who has nominated for deletion the photo "Colegio cesar chavez street sign andrew parodi.jpg". I will explain because I didn't believe that you take the photo. Browsering in the internet "Colegio cesar chavez" I found that the school worked between 1973 and 1983 and so the photo should have been taken in that years. Browsering in the internet I also found an interview of 2013 in which a person who has your name speak about the "Colegio cesar chavez collection"; in that interview (I don't link here because of your privacy) the person who has the same name of your Wikimedia username (and I suppose you and he are the same person) says the year when he was born; that year is incompatible with the years in which the photo was taken (I suppose you/the person were/was too young to take photo) and for this reason I thought that you could not be the author. If the photo was taken by your father/mother/relative you shall name it as the author and then explain that you uploaded it because you had the permission from it (and this must be proved) or, if it is the case, because you are the heir of the people. I also found this link in which there is a link between the "Colegio cesar chavez" and a person with the same name of your userneme, and so I think thet my hypothesis has some realistic basis. If the things are as I described in the prevoius lines I think that it is better to openly declare it, in order to avoid misunderstandings and possible deletion request (for example I was taken to delete the photo because of the date -it is impossibe that the photo was taken in 2017 even it could be the date of first publication-). I also suggest you (and this independent form the deletion request) to categorize better the image that you upload: if found the photo of which we were speaking by chance, because I was putting oreder in "Media needing categorization"; consider the if the image is not proped categorized it is impossible to find and use it ! I hope you will pardon my grammatical mistakes but English it is not my native language; waiting for an answer, best regards --Civitas13 (talk) 17:06, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
