Great pictures[edit]

Thank you for your great valve pictures. Please note that

  • Interwiki links to wikipedia's are better avoided in images when they are the same as their containing category.
  • {{Commons category|Valves}} is only to be used in some categories, never in images.

Enjoy the work. --Foroa (talk) 12:09, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Alloyvalves.
I am an Italian chemical engineering, and you?
Your work is related to some particular chemical process?
I really appreciate your images, and I have a request for you: can you take some photo of other chemical apparatus or chemical process plants, too? I really need them to complete Wikipedia pages. --Aushulz (talk) 10:29, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Ball-valve--The-Alloy-Valve-Stockist-A105N.JPG. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

Hello Alloyvalves. The same seems applies to all other uploads. The permission mentioned in the file description doesn't seem visible on the webpage linked there. Please take the necessary steps as requested above, otherwise the files might be deleted. -- User:Docu at 03:28, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OTRS[edit]

Hi Alloyvalves, please add {{OTRS pending}} to your files if you submitted it to OTRS. Once it's accepted, someone from the OTRS team will update the tagging. -- User:Docu at 15:07, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

looking for something related to F handling[edit]

Looking for a picture of a valve or pipe or something for handling F. I guess the more distinctive or shiny the better (I don't see how to tell that it is different from just some regular gas valve I guess). Maybe a cross section diagram? Donno...this is kind of a reach. But thinking about an illo for the wiki article on fluorine.TCO (talk) 05:02, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
