Thank you for your uploads, and categorisation[edit]

Hi,

Thank you for your uploads of pictures of computer equipment.

One thing to note is that you don't need to place an image in every applicable category; if it's already in a child category, it doesn't need to go in the parent categories as well. There's more on that at this article section.

Hope this helps, and thanks again for the uploads! Ubcule (talk) 13:44, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i will try better working in future with categories. Ajne01 (talk) 15:19, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Amiga 600[edit]

Hello, Ajne01. I appreciate the photographs of computers you have uploaded so far, and hope you continue to upload more in the future.

I am currently working on the article Amiga 600. The article already has a photograph of the computer, uploaded as File:Amiga 600.jpg, showing the keyboard's keys and the right side's ports, but it was uploaded at a medium-sized resolution. I prefer to have a photograph of the same thing uploaded at a high resolution, with sharper details and graphics, and your camera seems well suited for that purpose. If you still happen to have your Amiga 600 in hand, could you maybe retake a picture of it at an angle similar to the current file, where one can clearly see the top of the keys as well as the ports on the right side? If you decide to, could you also take a picture of the computer's left and rear sides at a similar angle? A bottom side is not necessary. If you decide not to, I can always ask others at Commons:File requests, but I think you are the person in the best position to do so. Just be sure if you decide to edit the pictures (e.g. to remove the background) to save them as uncompressed PNG files to avoid accidentally introducing JPEG artifacts. Thank you, FreeMediaKid$ 00:21, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i appreciate your work on Amiga computers, and yes, i have this computer in my hand. I can try make photo as you wish, i have't proffesional photo equipment, but i Will try it (my camera should take a RAW). I will give you know. Best Regards Ajne Ajne01 (talk) 04:51, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That'll work. I am simply more concerned about having a photograph that is larger and stores more visual detail. (The labels on the keys of the keyboard, for example, are tricky to discern in the current file, and a high-resolution version would make it easier.) A high-definition photograph is better than a medium-sized one, regardless of whether the camera used to take it is professional equipment—unless that camera is a really bad one. Hi, i was maked and uploaded some pictures of my computer. No JPEG was used, my camera can do RAW, and then i converted it to PNG in maximum resolution. But still is some noise in pictures, my ultrazoom is better for wide open scenes. I hope this pictures will help you. Best regards Ajne. Ajne01 (talk) 10:07, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have uploaded six images. Very good. I like the top, right and rear views of the computer. I can read every single label on the keys and next to the LED lights. I have a good view of the rear-sided ports, as well as their labels. I can even make out the labels "1 MOUSE" and "2 GAME" on the right side, albeit barely. I didn't know that the left side had no ports. I will say that I was hoping to see a photograph similar to the one in the infobox, where I can see the top of the keyboard and its details just as well as the right side. However, now that I think about it, I can just switch the infobox picture with the top-view one, then add the right- and rear-sided views in the hardware section of the article and explain their ports. Thank you for your cooperation. You will not regret it. FreeMediaKid$ 20:55, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No regret at all. It's lovely computer, and i have luck to have it in good condition. So if i can help with pictures, i glad to do it. With profesional equipment and more experiences would be pictures better, but i tryed my best. Ajne01 (talk) 21:10, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
