Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

File:Albania state emblem.svg

I think we are having issues with Wikimedia rendering of the correct image. There are a lot of times when a new SVG image is uploaded, the old image still shows no matter what happens. I assure you that I am using the older eagle (I am trying to get the eagle to match the legislation sent me, so I think it is something that can be approved of over time). Mantle

Hello, sorry to bother you, I see you are working SVG.

Licenses

Hi, seems that most of your uploads are in public domain, and therefore are not licensed under CC BY-SA. Please remove {{own}} tags from your images and replace them with public domain licenses that best describe your work. Source links would be useful too. You must also remove other tags or licenses that refer to the uploads as you own, such as "self", "cc-by-sa-3.0", or "GFDL". You can use {{PD-Albania-exempt}} for any Albanian emblem/logo that is in the public domain (see File:Logo of Albanian 100th anniversary of independence.svg for example). --Λeternus ^(talk) 11:45, 13 June 2014 (UTC)

SVG File: Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit.svg

Quality issue Thank you for your submission of image Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit.svg. I have noticed that the SVG you uploaded is poorly traced and is now listed in Category: SVG images with poor traced elements. While most submissions are useful, do you think you might be able to supply a better quality version of the same, or similar content? You can either upload an improved version or simply allow the file to be deleted. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. In all cases, please do not take this message personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you, and happy editing!

Hello AceDouble, I am currently updating the articles of the Albanian Armed Forces on the English wiki and using your excellent coat of arms of the various services. Some of them are slightly to modify:

• the Land Force, Air Force and Naval Force all dropped the "t" from "Forcat":
  • Land Force is now the "Forca Tokësore" File:Albanian Land forces.svg (source)
  • Air Force is now the "Forca Ajrore" File:Albanian Air Forces.svg (source)
  • Naval Force is now the "Forca Detare" File:Albanian Naval Forces.svg (source)
• the Logistics Brigade is now the "Komanda Mbështetëse" File:Albanian Logistics Brigade.svg (source)

I would appreciate if you could please update the names on the coat of arms, and request to move the Albanian Logistics Brigade file from its current name to "Albanian Support Command.svg". Thank you, Noclador (talk) 10:25, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
