Pay attention to copyright
File:CZ BREN 2.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request.

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Warning sign
This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:CZ Scorpion EVO 3.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:CZ Scorpion EVO 3.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

The above also applies to File:CZ SHADOW 2 80 ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION.png, File:CZ SHADOW 2.png, File:CZ 100 9x19mm.jpg, File:CZ 2075 RAMI.jpg, File:CZ P-10 C.jpg, File:CZ 805 BREN.png, File:CZ 75.png and File:CZ P-09.jpg. Just in case your not too familair with COM:L, it's generally only appropriate to claim content as "own work" when you are the actual creator/originator of the content in question. In other words, you can only claim a photograph as your own only if you are actually the person who took the photo and have not entered into an en:official copyright transfer agreement with another party. Many of these photos are off high quality and look like they might have been taken from some website, etc. If that's the case, then you cannot upload them to Commons under a free license without the explicit consent of the copyright holder as explained in COM:OTRS#If you are NOT the copyright holder. It's best to assume that any image, etc. you find online or in any type of printed publication is protected by copyright unless it clearly states otherwise. Being able to download the image for free doesn't mean it's free from copyright; moreover, downloading the image, changing it a bit, and then uploading to Commons might make the image a derivative work, but it doesn't void the copyright of the original image. If, by chance, you actually took these photos, you should email OTRS and provide proof that you did for verification purposes. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:50, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A file with the same name as this also uploaded by you was previously deleted as a copyright violation by a Commons administrator named Thibaut120094 per #File:CZ BREN 2.jpg (see here for the file's log). So, if this file and the one which was deleted are the same image with the same issues, then this one will have to be deleted as well. If they are different files, then please clarify how. In that case, it might be best to change the file name slightly so as to avoid any confusion.

For future reference, when a file you uploaded is deleted, pretty much the absolute worse thing you can do is simply re-upload the file again as if nothing happened. If you feel the deletion was a mistake, then the thing to do is to discuss things with the deleting admin and explain the situation and try to resolve things that way. In some case, you may also be able to ask for assistance at COM:REFUND. Simply re-uploading the file under the same or a different name gives others the impression that you're not really interested in complying with COM:L which lead to you being given warnings such as {{End of copyvios}} and even possibly your account being COM:BLOCKed if an administrator feels taking such a step is necessary. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:02, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
