Instead, please consider using {{copyvio|reason or source}}; it makes it easier on admins who review files for deletion. Thanks for your long service on copyvio detection, but please consider the advice given above. I've just reverted some of your unsourced claims on eg. File:The Mars S01 Ep04.jpg because the context seems to be a user willingly uploading their own original content, just failing to provide a clear source or licence for it (which means the files are already flagged for 7-day deletion). --Belbury (talk) 15:42, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File:Wawa logo.svg[edit]

Wanted to let you know that I've converted your speedy tag into a slow deletion discussion. Although the Wawa logo is not entirely a text logo, the threshold of originality in the United States is high enough that you can have graphical elements and still not be eligible for copyright protection (see the Great Western logo that's sort of the benchmark for this). Also, please be sure to leave edit summaries, and when you nominate files for deletion, speedy or otherwise, don't forget to notify the uploaders. In addition, I noticed that you've made a malformed deletion request: reducing to a reason rather than using {{Delete2}}, and not fixing the category page. Here, {{Delete}} is not for speedy deletion, please see COM:DP. When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template (rather than the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests), you must follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion (or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually policy or the "By hand" portion of COM:CFD#Starting requests, normally collapsed), otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people. Disruptive User[edit]

By applying a copyvio tag even though there is no proof of any copyright infringement is in my opinion disruptive behavior. As I can see there are other, similar topics, you might want to read about when to use the tags again. This topic here serves as discussion and if other users are agreeing with this view, the administrators can be notified by linking to this topic.
