Cricket maps[edit]

Hello Χ, how are you? I would like to create maps for all the ICC Men's T20 World Cups like you did for the Cricket World Cups. For the most countries I can change the colours for each country as a whole, but it doesn't work for the whole West Indies. I can't change the colours of the contour, nor the smaller Islands. Copy and paste from an other map with the colours I need also doesn't work. I don't know why. Can you help? Groete. --  SpesBona 14:55, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@SpesBona I'd be happy to help you! I'm currently away but next week I should be able to help. Cheers χ (talk) 18:35, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Good evening Χ, I'm glad to hear from you. :) My try for the 2023 Cricket World Cup worked well, but just because the West Indies were not there (but I prefere them on a World Cup than making it easier for me to create maps). My attempts for the ICC Men's T20 World Cups failed. Groete. --  SpesBona 22:05, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@SpesBona: I've uploaded a new version of File:2022 ICC Mens T20 World Cup Participating nations.svg. χ (talk) 20:49, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Χ, thanks a lot. They look very good, again! :) I'll try to create maps for the other tournaments (I have one for 2007). I try to fix West Indies on my map, otherwise I ask you. Thanks for your help. :) Groete. --  SpesBona 22:10, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For the 2007 ICC World Twenty I could upload the results maps (File:2007 ICC World Twenty20 results.svg), but since the West Indies made an other result at the 2009 ICC World Twenty I can't change their colour to red. Maybe you can change the circle for the West Indies on the 2007 map, so I can change the colour there and make all the result maps for all the ICC T20 World Cups? :) Groete. --  SpesBona 15:00, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've uploaded the result maps for all the ICC Men's T20 World Cups, but as you can see, I couldn't change the colour for the West Indies each time. The only other problem I couldn't fix is South Sudan. All the other thinks should be right. Please can you have a loop on the maps? Thanks a lot! :) Groete. --  SpesBona 20:41, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@SpesBona: ✓ Done. If you're interested, you can edit the files with a text editor. The color is applied via css rules as described here. In addition to the standard codes described in the instructions, I use the following codes: .wi for West Indies, .eng for England, and .sco for Scotland. χ (talk) 19:01, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks again for your great work, Χ! :) Using a text editor sounds good, I'll think I give it a try. As drawing .svg was new to me, this will also work. Thanks a lot, again. :) Groete. --  SpesBona 21:59, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
