I am an occasional contributor to Wikipedia by adding to existing articles or by adding discussion or answering questions in Discussion sections.

I am a retired naval officer with service in destroyers and submarines, both diesel and nuclear. I have worked in civilian life as nuclear engineer and business manager. Upon retirement, I lived halftime in France where I spent time traveling and researching family genealogy (du Bois and van Metre).

My interests include navy ships, nuclear power, cathedrals (especially French), sailing ships of the 16-18th Centuries) and ancient construction.
