Welcome! Am interested in people, cultures, history (including my own family ancestry), travelling, politics (furthering democracy through self-determination) and sports. Have been fortunate to experience living and working in different countries across South East Asia and in the United States and Australia and have made dear friends in many of those countries. On returning home to Scotland with my family we have managed to visit countries across Europe as well as to regularly visit the country of my father's birth, Poland. Photos included under Scotch Mist primarily relate to relatively recent 'journeys of discovery' within Europe, as well as photos of ancestors and people associated with them, and not to travels for work or pleasure beyond this continent, but perhaps these will be added later when time allows?
