I'm a photogaphy student. I like to experiment with texture and lighting. Here are some of the pictures I've taken:
-
It took me 2 attempts to get what I wanted. The image is actually 90 degrees rotated. Seeing the bark horizontally creates an interesting texture.
-
A hole in a wall. It makes me shudder just to look at this one. I overdid the contrast and blurring to try and create an uncertain, jarring quality.
-
This airbrick is rectangularly uniform, and contrasts well with the higgledy-piggledy stonework of the rest of the wall.
-
Again, it took me 2 attempts to get this right. I wanted a warm reddish hue along with some soft chiaroscuro lighting. I eventually got this by using multiple lamps, a red carpet, and a light reflector.

This is probably the best photo that I've taken. It's of an iron latch set in an old stone lintel.
