VisibleWikiWomen photo booth at #FIFAfrica22[edit]

#VisibleWikiWomen is an annual campaign to make all women, especially black, brown, indigenous and trans women, visible on Wikipedia and the broader internet. This global campaign, led by Whose Knowledge?, brings together Wikimedians, photographers, feminist organisations and cultural institutions in an effort to reduce the gender gap on Wikipedia, and address imbalances of gender representation in online imagery.

We want to bring #VisibleWikiWomen to #FIFAfrica22 in order to document women's participation, and make the faces of African women digital rights defenders, experts and leaders visible on Wikipedia.

See the full project in VisibleWikiWomen photo booth at FIFAfrica 2022.
