One of my recent additions
A recent project involved photographing Carlton Towers in the Little London area of Leeds during its demolition.
A project I recently undertook photographing the University of Leeds. I have a particular fondness for Brutalist architecture such as the Roger Stevens Building (pictured). I photographed this building in May 2010 and it was listed in June 2010.

I live in West Yorkshire and mainly photograph landscapes and buildings around Leeds as well as some occasional ones in different parts of Yorkshire, and some elsewhere. Among other cameras I use a Sony Alpha 230 digital SLR.

I have a legitimate second account called user:Vienna Rigsby the cat; which I mostly use for communicating with other users whom I have communicated with on other platforms. I do not tend to edit with it.

Every now and then I add some photographs to my user page to give you an idea of the sorts of things I'm photographing.

Intended areas to photograph[edit]

I intend to photograph the following areas. Getting around to it might be a little different.

  • Barnsley - For some reason there is very little of this town
  • The Yorkshire Dales - Again there could be more of this wonderful part of the country
  • Scarborough - There's some really nice buildings in this town that could be photographed
  • Halifax - Again I'd like to better photograph some of the really ornate Victorian buildings. When I went last year I only had a cheepy camera with me.
  • Kingston upon Hull - Again I'd like to go with a better camera. In particularly I'd like to photograph the city centre the docks and the Bransholme area.
  • The University of Leeds - I've photographed the campus on a couple of occasions however there are still large parts of it I haven't got yet. It's quite an interesting place to photograph.
  • Headingley Stadium - I'll have to wait for the Rugby League and Cricket seasons to start in summer but I'm intent on getting a better collection of photographs of both sides of the stadium and the activities that take place within.
  • Kirkstall Abbey - This is one of the few monuments in Leeds I am yet to photograph.
