Why I am Here[edit]

I have recently taken to editing pages, attempting to make use out of my keen eye for grammar and a deficiency in spelling. I do my best to stay away from issues of POV, though it is the most common violation of wiki policy. I do find myself getting into small battles, but like to think that I spend more of my time checking wording and sources. Having always been a typewriter boy, I still have much to learn in terms of how the mechanics of page production work.

Areas of Study[edit]

My degree focuses on Southern United States Literature. However, this genre often receives lots of attention by men who edit articles far better than I, and with a defeated heart I have turned to history topics as my focus, as history professors and undergraduates tend to write poorly and push a particular POV. If I were a sociology student I would wonder about the correlation between history students and POV, but for the time being I will stick to making sure that the POV articles are labeled and correctly punctuated.
