Dear Rémi

Thank you for your inquiry concerning copyrights. The documents
available from our website that are covered by copyright will be
clearly marked with a copyrights sign, name of the agency and year.
See for instance page four in this recently published report
http://reports.eea.eu.int/eea_report_2005_3/en/FINAL-3_05-Packaging_waste_WEB.pdf

Documents not covered by copyrights will not be marked in this way.
See for instance press releases
http://org.eea.eu.int/documents/newsreleases/med_2005-en

The note on the bottom of each html page on our website is merely a
copyrights notice link to the explanatory text.

Kind regards

Ove Caspersen

Subject: Re-use of maps on the EEA Website

Dear Sir / madam,

While browsing through your website, I came accross the copyright
notice which says : "Unless otherwise indicated, the information
available from this site is within the public domain."

However, there is a copyright label at the bottom of each page.
Does this label means the material in those pages is not in the
public domain ? Or is there usually a supplementary indication
for copyrighted materials ?

Thank you for any answer,

Regards,
Rémi K.
