It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually. Task

• The bot is meant to perform batch uploads in cooperation with Wikimedia Norge's GLAM partners that have materials in the Digital Museum, starting with Vestfoldmuseene.

Operation & when

• The bot is automatic, but will be supervised and will only run when the operator (Jon Harald Søby (WMNO)) is online and available.

Maximum edit rate

• Not exactly sure at the moment, but probably not more than an edit or two per minute (AndreCostaWMSE-bot, which runs on the same framework, seems to perform an edit every two minutes or so when active).

• Will be using the Python Wikimedia-Commons-uploads framework by Ambrosiani, André Costa and Alicia Fagerving
