Born on the 7th of March, 1968, John Robinson has carved a central name for himself in various avenues. Born and brought up in Lucknow UTTAR PRADESH, India, he carries a love for his motherland in every breath he takes. His dedication and devotion towards his country can’t go unnoticed. He is a man with variant shades of colors like a rainbow in the sky. With every avenue that he launches or be a part of, his main motif is the betterment and upliftment of society and his country at large. He is a dynamic personality with involvement in vivid fields from being religious to social, media to literature, from political to cultural and as Educationist the list is endless. Being a versatile personality he is better known as a negotiator in his social, religious, media & cultural circle His rigorous work style and positive approach towards National and International matters has made him a man of great worth.

Onto the path shown by his father he gradually and steadily inclined towards the field of social work. In the year 2002, he visioned doing something for the community and society at large. In the year 2005, following his vision, he initiated the work on the formation of a charitable organisation. It was in 2009, that the ‘Helping Hand Welfare Association (HHWA), a UN approved non profetable organisation was formed. HHWA is working towards community development and social upliftment. He is ardently focused on supporting only those who are deserving and actually in need of charity. The HHWA is known as Royal Foundation, in the US & UK. He along with his wife is the trustee. Due to its exceptional support in the field of social and economic development, the Royal Foundation was awarded the ‘Best Funder’ award in the year 2011. The Foundation is also a co-partner of two world best Foundation globally

Owing to his incredible involvement in social welfare issues he is persuaded and invited by many organisations as a guest motivational speaker. He has beneted and guided many social organisations with his words of wisdom. The Human Rights Forum has invited him many times to speak on various issues. He is recently been invited by the International forum in California, US – ‘WCHRD and honored by UNSDG’ (World Convention on Human Rights & elimination of Discrimination) as a guest speaker. He has intensively participated in the Human Rights Forum both nationally and internationally.

He started his professional career in September 1993 with the UNHCR and has extensively traveled around the world visiting over more than 74 countries. He then went on to join TISCO (a company of the Tata & Sons) as the General Manager – HR and proved instrumental information and implementation of the policies which were beneficial for the labour & management as well. His expertise is still sought after by them for resolving various management and labour related issues. He moved on to work with the Times Warner Bros. and it was here that he shifted to the world of media. He is always of the view that media is the third pillar supporting comprehensively and bridging the gaps between those in authority and the public

With a zeal to serve society by bringing in light the feigning truths and naked realities of life he entered the media world. He started his career as a correspondent in Times Warners Group & Turner Group and reached to the level of Group Editor for Southeast Asia. During his tenure as a media person, he added by bringing some of the ground realities into the limelight. His coverage about Ganges and Glimpses of India are few of the most popular series on Discovery and National Geographical channel globally

He is heading Asian News Network as Group Editor For an extensive and daring journalism work, He has been awarded seven awards. ‘Best Journalist’. The southeast Asian Journalist Association, Dubai awarded him as best editor award. He is also awarded by many associations and federations mainly in India for the good work. His excellence in this field was marked by the Media Federation of India and was awarded the ‘Best Journalist’ award from 2007 to 2011, till he became active as a social worker.
