Recording of my oversight actions
January 2008[edit]
- Removed edit from sandbox revealing personal contact information previously dealt with by selective restore. Discovered on RC patrolling Autumn 07.
- Removed page completely that revealed personal contact information previously dealt with by deletion. Discovered on RC patrolling last week.
- Reviewing my deletion log for the past month I removed three IP created pages that in two cases contained email addresses and in one case full contact info. I do not plan going further back in the log.
February 2008[edit]
- An IP placed a phone number on the Commons helpdesk. It was reverted but would seem to come under the remit of oversight for removal.
- Over the past 24 hours Lar & I have used oversight to remove personal information from both a user page and their images. The request was by email.
- In the past week I have removed three edits from IPs containing contact information. Two were found as I worked on RC, the other one was via a request to me.
- In the past week I have used Oversight twice. Once to remove an edit from an IP who placed a 'phone number. The other occasion related to a page created with by an IP which had a number of items of contact info including email addresses, conventional addresses & phone numbers. Both found on R.
