Introduction

Hi, my name is Éder Porto, I'm 29 years old. I have an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics with qualification in Biological Sciences at Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP) and a technical degree in Visual Communication at Paula Souza State Technological Education Center (CEETEPS).

My main occupation is as a programmer, but I also work as a designer. My interests within Wikimedia projects include, but are not limited to, creating, maintaining and improving templates and modules, as well as other tools that facilitate other people's editing; I also frequently work in GLAM partnerships, mainly in information modeling on Wikidata.

For a while (until April 24, 2018), I also used this account to make edits like wikimedian in residence at NeuroMat and I believe that my personal editions never came into conflict with those carried out in that context.

Since April 26, 2020, I have been using the EPorto (WMB) account, with which I have served as Product and Resources Manager for Wiki Movement Brazil User Group. That institutional account does not participate in community decisions, particularly voting.
