Edward Drantler produces sketches of famous people. His aim being to work in as rough and naive manner as possible in order to capture the essence of a person's face and being or rather to capture what has become popularly and historically perceived as a person's face and being. In this way he hopes to provide images that are clear and fresh for the modern internet but also compact to speed the loading of pages - in particular on mobile devices such as the newly released Apple iPhone and for individuals that access pages at a per kb rate.
