Template talk:WSTMtag

This is one of the templates viewed with concern in Commons:Village pump#Latent categorization by template. It results in many topical categories being crowded with duplicative and poor photographs. Those photos should be included in the Wikis Take Manhattan cats, but most should be removed from public topical cats to make them easier for users seeking photos for illustrations. I just finished doing the bot request at Commons:Bots/Work_requests/Archive_5#Categories_included_through_templates and removed part of the categorization from this template. This should make it easier to re-categorize the images. I don't think they should be added only to WTM categories, but remain in appropriate topical categories too. --  Docu  at 05:04, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
