Integration[edit]

This template seems to me to be relevant to Commons_talk:Media_for_cleanup Globbet 00:01, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Instruction[edit]

The only point here is declared the quality issue, but the other relevant point is that raster images are stored completely inefficient (Data URI base64 encoded, against SVG technique). Would someone write this in a short way in there? It would be also a bit clearer that raster images in SVG is not always that bad thing. -- Perhelion 09:48, 28 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Compression migrates the base64 encoding somewhat. Also, File sizes are irrelevant for Wikimedia projects, since SVGs are rasterized into PNGs before serving; but they can be relevant to people re-using the images elsewhere. And "if appropriate to do so" does convey the meaning of "raster images in SVG is not always that bad thing", which I think is sufficient. --Kakurady (talk) 00:06, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Layout[edit]

The default layout should be redone, as all the {{#switch}} hacks are appropriate only for English (and similar languages), but the layout should be grammar-neutral. — Draceane talkcontrib. 13:38, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Sl translation[edit]

{{Editrequest}} Hello, could someone please check why Template:SVG with raster elements/sl does not display correctly (I still see the English version)? Thank you. --TadejM (t/p) 00:30, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@TadejM I updated the /lang subpage. Is it fixed now? —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 01:29, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, User:Mdaniels5757. No, sorry; it's still in English. I don't know if the problem is in the main template or in the translated version. --TadejM (t/p) 01:34, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@TadejM How about now? —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 02:02, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, now it works excellent! Thank you a lot. --TadejM (t/p) 02:12, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! Marking ✓ Done. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 17:11, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
