Further parameters?[edit]
The current template parameters are:
- Description of the subject
- Number of frames used
- Software used
I suggest to also include
- projection type
- horizontal angle
- placement of horizon
as this information would allow correct display in a viewer app.

- I would suggest a special value for „Software used“ (or an additional parameter) to indicate that the camera's panoramic mode was used. Instead of saying „merged in software“ the template could then say „merged by the camera“. -- Renardo la vulpo (talk) 19:24, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
Add a category?[edit]
Wouldn't it make sense to add a Panorama-related category with the template? Such as Category:Panoramas or Category:Stitched images, or even better recognize the software used when applicable and categorize it as such (eg Category:Created with Hugin) --Trougnouf (talk) 01:45, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
