Wording[edit]

"This image is in the public domain in Mexico because author died 100 years ago, in the case of governamental works." What? Rocket000 22:58, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I don't understand this template at all. Apart from that "governmental issue" you mentioned - what does the "exception" mean? According to the laws of logic, such wording implies that works of authors who died before July 23, 1928 are NOT in the public domain despite being governmental works (sic!). The whole template is illogical and should be rewritten. --Botev 10:49, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
