Cannot change from PD to CC[edit]

- Agreed. And images acquired from http://www.spacetelescope.org before their change of policy are also still PD. For images coming from spacetelescope and not available on hubblesite, we have {{Cc-Hubble}}. –Tryphon☂ 08:36, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
- But the PD from hubblesite.org is only for „Material credited to STScI“. What do we do with material credited to ESA? How do we sort out which of these pictures are prior the license-changing and which are after? --Quedel (talk) 18:17, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Should we create PD-Webb?[edit]
Finally we know how JWST images will be released, with a clear copyright statement:

No surprise, it's basically the same terms as Hubble, as both telescopes are run by the same people at STScI. Should we create Template:PD-Webb to have a clear and beautiful licence banner for JWST images? Right now I don't see any ESA/CSA copyright fuss.
