While I appreciate your advice and your help, I have to say with all respect that if it's seen after a half a week on the main talk pages of a format, there is a big risk the time rises exponentially if I ask it on the lang subpages. --Anime Addict AA (talk) 00:20, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

As long as you use {{Editprotected}}, the visibility is the same no matter what page it is in ;) Several admins watch the category:Commons protected edit requests, or visit it regularly -- me included :) --Waldir ^talk 13:31, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

"This library is free software" -> "This file is free software"

{{Editprotected}} Some files are using LGPL, but they are not "libraries", especially like File:Nuvola apps important.svg. Please consider changing the line to "This file". --Timothy G. ^{from CA} (talk) 02:26, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Please raise this on COM:VPC. Without a lawyer’s opinion, I am not going to change this. The original license was made for software libraries and I don't know whether we are allowed to change the wording of the license. -- Rillke^(q?) 21:31, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
