Requesting new parameter[edit]

Over at w:Template:Cite web, they have a parameter "dead-url". I always archive webpages I cite which are not well-established databases, and use "archive-url" and "archive-date" in the citation, even when the link is live, setting "dead-url=no". That way, other editors know it has been archived, and if the link dies, another editor has only to delete the "dead-url" parameter. So the parameter is helpful. Thanks to anyone who can add it! Debugging an archive-url link[edit]

I found a dead link in a citation on File:AlaskaQuake-Tire.jpg, so I tried adding an archive-url. I'm pretty sure I added it correctly, but it looks like this template may not be set up properly on this wiki. Can anyone help debug this? -- RobLa (talk) 17:36, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
