Doc?

How come there is no documentation for this template? It seems to automatically generate a user link for the author. But what if the author isn't a user? Is there another template for that? Is there a parameter which we can use to remove the user link? I've seen the user link link to flickr as well. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.-Andrew c (talk) 16:58, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
